Here's the thing, I am 49 and have only ever read The Lion in this series, hence my purchase for a long work commute. After much debate and research, I decided to listen in the order prescribed on the tin, which is not publication order. I am really enjoying the books, some may say that they are dated, indeed they are, but this simply adds to their charm. I don't remember hansom cabs, but I do remember scraping frost away from an inside window in the winter time. Narnia will always have a special place in my heart, and these audio books are proving to be an exceptional buy. I loved the presentation case, with Aslan himself on the front.
