One contradictory aspect of the new strategy is that, in Iraq, most of the insurgent violence directed at the American military has come from Sunni forces, and not from Shiites. As Mexico shut schools and museums and axed public events, global health officials stopped short of declaring a pandemic. But they warned more cases could come to light, making up a major outbreak, as the flu spreads between people and infected some individuals who had no contact with one another. The World Health Organization said the virus from 12 of the Mexican patients was the same genetically as a new strain of swine flu, designated H1N1, seen in eight people in California and Texas who later recovered. The Revelation of Jesus Christ is a book of prophecy on the end times and comprises the final book of the New Testament and of the Bible. Revelation always implies the unveiling of something previously hidden, in this case, future events. As the final book of the Bible, the Book of Revelation brings to fruition symbolism found in Genesis in the first book of the Bible. Written in symbolism, the book has always been surrounded by mystery and has fascinated mankind throughout the ages as to its meaning. The Apocalypse opens with "The Revelation of Jesus Christ ," the prophecy revealed to the Evangelist John by the risen Christ, "who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood" The Book of Revelation is at once frightening, as it speaks of the rise of the evil one, the Great Tribulation, and the end of the age; dramatic as it describes the final battle of good and evil; and, above all, optimistic, as it points to the triumph of Jesus Christ over evil and the dawn of a New Creation.

The end time also called end times , end of time , end of days , last days , final days , doomsday, or eschaton is a future time-period described variously in the eschatologies of several world religions both Abrahamic and non-Abrahamic , which teach that world events will reach a final climax. The Abrahamic faiths maintain a linear cosmology , with end-time scenarios containing themes of transformation and redemption. In Judaism , the term "end of days" makes reference to the Messianic Age and includes an in-gathering of the exiled Jewish diaspora , the coming of the Messiah , the resurrection of the righteous , and the world to come. Some sects of Christianity depict the end time as a period of tribulation that precedes the second coming of Christ , who will face the Antichrist along with his power structure and usher in the Kingdom of God. Isa will triumph over the false messiah, or the Antichrist, which will lead to a sequence of events that will end with the sun rising from the west and the beginning of the Qiyamah Judgment day. Non-Abrahamic faiths tend to have more cyclical world-views, with end-time eschatologies characterized by decay , redemption, and rebirth. In Hinduism , the end time occurs when Kalki , the final incarnation of Vishnu , descends atop a white horse and brings an end to the current Kali Yuga.
Revelation is the most difficult book of the Bible to understand. So much disagreement, even among well-respected theologians, can have a discouraging effect. How can the average reader of Revelation hope to understand things that are difficult for theologians? On the other hand, Revelation is a book of the Bible given to us by God. These verses at the beginning of Revelation affirm that this book conveys an important message from God to his servants , and therefore a proper understanding of Revelation must be reasonably within their grasp.
In the Gospel accounts Jesus gave a brief summary of the events and conditions leading up to His return. But later He filled in many details. Sixty years passed before He revealed more of the specifics about the end time to the apostle John. Here we find again the outline of the prophecy Jesus gave on the Mount of Olives, but represented in extensive symbolism. To him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And has made us kings and priests to God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Even so, Amen.
